Counselling Services
Counselling sessions are 60 minutes in duration and are offered virtually or in-person to anyone 18 years of age or older.
Fees are due in advance of the session. A sliding scale fee structure is available for students and seniors. A free-of-charge 15-minute intake session is available to answer questions before booking a session.
Brightwater Counselling does not direct bill insurance companies but will provide a receipt for you to submit with your claim. Your insurance provider will be able to tell you if your plan covers counselling services.
If you have questions about the counselling process or you are ready to book a session, please send a message. I will be in touch as soon as possible.

At Brightwater Counselling, individuals are supported through a wide range of experiences, including:
-
Anxiety and worry that seem to take over daily life.
-
Compassion fatigue and burnout, especially for those in caregiving or helping roles.
-
Relationship struggles, whether with family, friends, or colleagues.
-
Grief and loss arising from any number of events such as the death of a loved one, changes in health, or losing a home or job.
-
Life transitions—marriage, divorce, retirement, career changes, or an empty nest.
-
Low self-esteem and self-doubt, which can make it hard to move forward.
-
Trauma and difficult past experiences, and limiting beliefs that continue to shape how you feel and function today.
-
Feeling stuck, sensing life could be richer but not knowing how to begin.
You don’t have to go through these challenges alone. Counselling offers a safe, supportive space to talk things through, find clarity, and discover new ways forward.
Brightwater Counselling welcomes everyone!
